Seyfried plays Valerie a pretty woman in love with 2 different guys. She has to chose between loving an outcast or marrying a wealthy man her parents have picked for her in an arranged marriage. She plans to run away with her lover but finds out her sister has been killed by a werewolf that lives in the dark forest. She starts to suspect the werewolf is someone she knows. She connects with the werewolf making for a dangerous relationship and a thrilling plot.
